There’s a lot happening to organise the perfect workshop experience for our AMD2020 delegates.

The 10th Australian workshop on Acid and Metalliferous Drainage is specifically designed for all stakeholders who have an interest in mining environments and sustainable mining practices. It provides an excellent opportunity for mining industry representatives to share their experiences of their operations, and to learn and reflect on solutions and technology presented by consultants and research providers.

We are expecting 120-150 delegates will attend the workshop, providing you with the unique opportunity to interact with industry at all levels, regulators, government, and academia working in this important field.

AMD2020 will be held in Dubbo, situated in the heart of New South Wales, from picturesque rivers, an internationally recognised zoo and numerous mine sites to see and visit.

Two Doors Wine and Tapas

During the workshop delegates will enjoy the ambience of a welcome event at “Two Doors” wine and tapas lounge, which is tucked away from the bustle of the street. Delegates can enjoy a safari tour of the savannah and dine at the Taronga Western Plains Zoo, a field trip to the Tomingley Gold Mine and Peak Hill Mines along with the AMD specific short courses and the full workshop program.
