Kate Maddison has spent the past 13 years working for the NSW Government. Kate has been a member of the Legacy Mines Program for the past 8 years where she delivered the Woodsreef Mine Major Rehabilitation Project.

Kate left school and joined the military where she commenced her career in the electronics field. Kate joined the NSW Government’s Mine Safety team after many years in the mining industry as an Automation Engineer. She has since retrained in conservation and land use management. Her current role as Project Manager sees her working in the safety and environmental risk management at many legacy mine sites across NSW.
