B. Evaluating Risk and Opportunity with Mine Rock Stockpile and Cover System Performance for our Changing Climate Conditions, Presented by O’Kane Consultants

Field Trip Plan

Wednesday March 25, 2020 - Field Trip

8.45am Meet at Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre

9.00am Buses depart for Visiting Tomingley Gold Mine (operating) and Peak Hill Mine (closed).   

Travel south towards Peak Hill mine through Alkane exploration and mining lease areas

10.00am Arrive at Peak Hill

10.00-12.30pm Tour of Peak Hill Mine site

12.30-13.30pm  Lunch Peak Hill Park

13.30pm  Depart for Tomingley Mine

14.00pm  Arrive at Tomingley Mine

14.00-15.00pm  Tomingley Mine visit

15.00pm  Depart for Dubbo

15.45pm  Arrive at DRTCC

While on site, delegates are required to have: water bottle, strong closed-in shoes, long pants and long sleeved shirt. A hat and sunscreen is recommended.
